At Castel Viel, one of the highest point of Gironde, the Sauvignon Blanc thrives on clay-limestone soils where fossilized oyster beds outcrop. On the limestone plateau of Roquefort, the Merlot vinified on the fruit gives all its richness to this cuvée.
